THE PITCH 2020 MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN
As an intern for The Pitch, the other interns and I developed a membership campaign to encourage people to donate to the publication, with 3 different message buckets. We used the messaging of supporting local journalism, keeping Kansas City unique and local, and celebrating 40 years of The Pitch in Kansas City. I also designed new email headers that would go on the top of the emails that get sent to the members once they subscribed. These new headers fit the brand of The Pitch, and attract their alternative audience of young adults. The rest were slowly released on social media as part of a 5 week campaign, raising over $2,000.
